Gastroenterology of the Berkshires was founded by Dr. Lisa Das. The office is located in Pittsfield, MA, at 631B North Street in the Berkshire Cardiology building. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please call for an appointment.
Dr. Das is a graduate from Guy’s Hospital Medical School in London, England where she earned her MB BS. Her internship and residency were performed at the Gastroenterology- Eastbourne Hospital in England, as well as Boston City Hospital at the Boston City Medical Center, and the Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University.
Prior to opening Gastroenterology of the Berkshires, Dr. Das served as a Gastroenterologist/Internist at Berkshire Physicians and Surgeons in Pittsfield, MA. She is board certified in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Federal Licensing Examination, and Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Das is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. She received the Dr. H.J. Eddy and NYSGE research Award for Fellow of the Year presentation in 1995.
